Excerpt from Chapter 5 Karma

By the time John’s new trial was to start on September 22, the prosecution knew about John’s confession to me. They had wanted me to do a statement, but I told them I would prefer to not say anything until I was in the courtroom, and for them to just ask me if he had confessed to me. Even though spirit told me everything would work out, the human side in me would give me doubts. I wasn’t prepared to leave my home, and I knew he wouldn’t leave. I would think about the karma. I had to stay with him all of these years to see him put in jail,
and that is what would happen, with or without a statement from me.

Around two o’clock that day I received a call from the police prosecutor. He said that the only way the prosecution could use my evidence in court was for me to do a statement. I knew then that I had to do it, no matter what the consequences. I met with the prosecution two hours later and did my statement. John didn’t know about my statement that night, but Scott and I packed some of my things up and took them to storage just in case he did find out.

The next morning John found out about my statement and rang me to tell me how disappointed he was in me, and how he’d make sure I’d end up with nothing. Later that day on advice from his solicitor, he pleaded guilty and was put into jail. Our karma was complete.

Two days later Maryanne told me had I not done the statement and had only testified against him I would have had to repeat all the karma. The karma was clear. It had to be me to send No Water to jail, not a jury, so by doing the statement, and making the decision on my own to do it, which ultimately made him plead guilty and be sent to jail, our karma was complete. It was over. Maryanne told me that no one could tell me to do it; it had to be my decision alone. Crazy Horse had repaid No Water for what he had done to him last life. It has verified to me that No Water was definitely the instigator in having Crazy Horse put into jail. Had Crazy Horse’s soul not chosen death, he would have spent the rest of his life behind bars.
